  why are some ex jws not at all interested in this site despite not believing anymore

  my disfellowshipped hub is not interested and neither is my friend its like they want to just shut it all out and any mention just brings back bad memories of being disfellowshipped .

  i could understand if they still were scared of apostates and all that rubbish but they dont believe in anything !

  which prooves my point about a lot of folk in the "truth" that they are there by chace or because they were born in and dont know anything different or scared of dying at armaggedon , its not really about a deep love for god and a wish to do his will and enjoy spreading "the good news" which is "you are all going to die soon" how could someone who was a pioneer and appeared "spiritual"and was considered elder material go from that to not believing in god at all ?

  Most likely hurtful memories come back or they get reminded of how applying stupid they were for joining the JWS in the first place.

  Those are big and important reasons that come to mind.

  Time to remove that old personality and self imposed identity that you've created for yourself WARLOCK and I'm guessing

  you created this from the social identities devised and created by the JWS.

  The only powers a true Warlock has is the ones in his head and if its true that you really are an adult you

  certainly have some growing up still to do.

  If my memory serves me correctly you started a thread last year about OUIJA boards with the exact same results,

  have you totally forgotten what was said.

  Warlock, assuming you can read, perhaps you might want to reread the forum guidelines you've been a member for awhile now

  you should have taken these guidelines to heart.

  By the way the evaluation and discussion has nothing to do with the old personality or the new personality as said by

  the JWS , its about logical sense of reasoning, something the JWS have little of, thats why most people have left.

  Again the piece of wood called a planchette moves by virtue of thought suggestion of the people that have their hands on it.

  And nothing else. Its thrilling isn't to see it move and seemly answer questions and thats why its considered a toy,

  Its called an incidence of fate Warlock, this does occur in the real world on occasion.

  Another thing you might want to look into one day is intellectual honesty,

  something Warlocks and religionists deliberately have separated themselves from.

  it took it's toll on my camaro today.

  the thing overheated, giving me a little warning.

  i opened the hood, and the water pump is leaking.

  If your mechanically inclined do it yourself and wear gloves, rubber or cotton.

  A water pump shouldn't be too difficult on that car, particularly so if you have a shop manual......good luck
